No contact form?
We don't use a contact form on this site because of
some security problems that have come up.
One of our other sites uses a form script. It is
handy for the visitor, but the spam hackers are
having a field day. It appears that some programmers
have come up with a way to hijack the contact form
and use it to send mail. It would look like the mail
came from us when in fact it doesn't.
Our server logs show an average of 15 attempts each
day. Each of the attempts looks for a different file
on our server. The IP address of each attempt is
different (and phony !), so the hackers are using a
script to search for our mail form. They haven't
found it yet. One day they probably will.
